No: £39 for "gifts", £15 for goods. Once the goods are assessed in value above the £15 or £39 threshold, you then have to pay VAT on the goods + the postage costs + any duties applied. (plusany fees the courier wants to try and add).

I haven't seen the breakdown (upload it if you have it), but I guess the $19 has gone over the £15 limit, and so they've then worked out tax to be paid on the postage cost + and the £15, and added their charge on top. It would be interesting to see the breakdown of the charge, and also to find out exactly what the sender paid for the postage costs. It might be Fedex are pulling a fast one and using a "book rate" for the delivery cost instead of what was actually paid (which is likely discounted, like when you use parcel2go in this country).
In all cases, seeing as no-one has paperwork for payment of anything like $19 it might be worth sucking it up on the tax side and just arguing the £12 if you want to.

No, £39 para regalos, £15 para productos. Una vez han considerado que superas el limite, tienes que pagar IVA en el coste del producto + gastos de envio + otros otros impuestos (+ el coste de administracion que intenta cobrar Fedex)

No he visto como lo han calculado (subelo si lo tienes), pero supongo que $19 ha superado £15 I asi han calculado a base de un total de coste de envio + £15 , y han sumado su coste de £12 por encima. Seria interesante ver como lo han calculado, y tabien lo que le cobraron por los gastos. Puede ser que Fedex esta cobrando un coste "de lista de precios" por el envio en calcularlo, pero el que lo ha enviado ha pagado mucho menos (como si usas parcel2go en este pais).
De todas formas, ya que nadie tiene papeleo que indica pago de nada parecido a $19 es posible que no vale la pena quejarse por los impuestos, y solo quejarse por las £12 si te entran ganas.

Gracias de nuevo Tocinillo y al foro en general, no me esperaba esta maravilla de cacharro, y tampoco sabía que el original costaba tanto, hay dos versiones de 500 euros y otra de 1000 euros!!!! Por el precio que se vende aquí y lo que hace, es la polla con cebolla.

Hi @ Tocinillo sorry can you tell it need to be $15 as i £15 will be more than $19. If you know what I mean. It plenty time to Monday/tuesday so he should respond. Thank you for all your effort.

That is how I recieved it. No extra Fees charged etc. Directly to my door. Do not make that much stress because of 30$ when buying a piece of electronics which usaly costs you 1000$ and you get it for 330$.
 
Anyone here cold maybe help me with a little problem?

While playing movies with Dolby Atmos from a .iso file there seems to be no problem with the playback and the AVR is showing everything correct. Once I try to watch a .mkv file with Atmos, as well the Chinoppo shows me the Audiotrack called MLP, sometimes 7.1 but wont show Atmos on the AVR. Always just Multichannel in.

AVR is an Denon x1500h and a 5.1.2 Setup with 2 Front Hights.
 
After finally sorting out a correct UK mains adapter (5.5 outer, 2.5 inner) I managed to power up my box last night and based upon a quick look around everything seemed to be working just fine. :D Thanks again to @Tocinillo and AVP for arranging this and making the whole experience so easy for us.
 
Recibidos ayer por la mañana mientras yo estaba de viaje. He vuelto esta noche y sólo he podido probarlos un poco para ver que funcionan. De todos modos aquí sólo tengo una tele 1080p así que para probarlos "de verdad" tendré que esperar a volver a casa.

Bueno , testado un poco por encima, en mi lcd antiguo porque toy de vacas, y en 1080 va perfe, buena calidad de imagen, yo diría que un pelín por encima de la shield (aunque esto puede ser el efecto placebo), he probado con m2ts,mkv,mts,iso, full bluray,h265...y sin problemas...contentos con el cacharrin...me recuerda mucho al tvix dvico que tuvimos antaño......cuando lo pruebe a fondo en la c9 ya pondre mis impresiones ,....saludos a todos
 
Buenas! bueno llevo unos dias leyendo el foro porque andaba buscando un remplazo para mi reproductor. Porque dentro de poco quiero hacerme con un buen televisor y necesito si o si cambiarme para poder reproducir contenido en 4k.

Y leyendo gran parte del hilo y los buenos comentarios que todos haceis del comportamiento del aparato quiero hacerme con uno.

Asi que no se cuando es la proxima tanda de compra conjunta pero me gustaria apuntarme para la proxima.

To the best of my knowledge, Dolby Atmos cues have to be within a Dolby TrueHD audio track. Have you checked whether or not that mkv rip has a Dolby TrueHD audio track? Previously, I owned an OPPO UDP-203 unit. As far as I remember, I could see Dolby Atmos indication on my AVR (Denon x4500h) even when playing mkv rips. Maybe, you should test with other mkv files.

O sea, que preguntéis por el otro hilo y en cristiano si queréis que la mayoria pueda contestaros, y lo digo con todo el respeto del mundo, pero los que no estamos muy sueltos cuesta un poco sacar algo claro. ???

Gente, mi Chinoppo ya ingreso a Argentina y me aparece en el Tracking : clearance event
LLamé a DHL pensando que era algún problema y aparentemente es que están despachandolo en Aduana .... lo tendré seguramente la semana que viene.

Lo cuento porque de verdad el Ingreso de productos a Argentina es muy dificultoso y si va a llegar acá? comprenló sin inconvenientes que llega a cualquier parte. ;)
